Trustee services

A trust structure is simply an ownership structure. For example, the assets of a trust are owned by the trustee (who may be an individual or organisation) but held for the benefit of other individuals or organisations (the beneficiaries).

Trusts offer a beneficial tax structure that can also provide protection for the assets of minor children, people with an intellectual disability or other at-risk beneficiaries. We also provide specialist trustee services for Aboriginal communities and Native Title claim groups.

Trusts are created for a variety of reasons. At AET, we are able to help you choose the trust that best meets your needs.

Working with your adviser, we can establish and manage a trust tailored to your individual requirements and make sure it works in the best interests of the beneficiaries.
