Karen is admitted to practice in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia as a barrister and solicitor. She graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and holds a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning from the Securities Institute of Australia (since acquired by Kaplan Professional) and a Professional Certificate in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds from the University of Adelaide.

Karen is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Karen brings extensive legal experience to her position at Australian Executor Trustees, having spent almost 25 years providing estate planning services within banking and trustee organisations, where her focus was providing sophisticated, practical and tailored advice to high net worth private clients of two of Australia’s leading banks in addition to helping everyday families with their estate planning.
