Self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs) first became popular in the 1990s. Despite being quite labour-intensive and relatively onerous on the member trustees and their advisers, their popularity continues to grow at an amazing rate. We had a good look around at the SMSF services available. Some were quite good, but even the best had room for improvement. So, drawing on Australian Executor Trustees’ 120 years of experience looking after the personal financial needs of Australians and our expertise as small super fund specialists, we set about building a brand new SMSF service – from the ground up. We believe the result is so good that we’ve decided to give it a name.
