Who is SPAA?
SPAA is the peak body for SMSF professionals in Australia, with members drawn from the accounting, financial planning and legal fraternities.

Established in 2003, SPAA is the only association of its kind in Australia to have a core focus on Self Managed Superannuation and provide the central point for the education and representation of professional SMSF advisers.

SPAA aims to complement other professional organisations & associations as the key umbrella organisation representing all professionals regardless of existing vocation or professional affiliations, but only in the area of advice relating to SMSFs.

SPAA's key objectives are to provide members with professional accreditation to distinguish themselves as reputable specialist SMSF advisers, endorse them and represent their interests on a national level. This activity will in turn help the industry to self-regulate.
