Originally part of the TOWER Group - an Australian and New Zealand financial services company - Australian Wealth Management operates as a separately listed company on the ASX.

Australian Wealth Management was formed as a division of TOWER Group in July 2003 through the integration of a number of businesses operating within the wealth management sector.

In February 2005, the business was formally separated from the TOWER Group and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange as Australian Wealth Management Limited.
